Hi everyone! I decided to go solo when it came to building a site. I devoted a great deal of time teaching myself the ins and outs of site creation. The following link will take you to what I think is a pretty decent site (given the circumstances). Please take a look and let me know what you think. The more criticism the better. Thanks everyone.

for your first try, great job! I like the colors and the simplicity of it. You need to fix some spacing issues like the text beign too close to the borders. But it looks good and is easy to read as well as navigate.

My only negative comment and we all have them, is that it seems a bit cookie cuttered and not all original. But that`s something you can address later on.

Once again good job.

The photo of the puzzle globe is squished.  I find that way too distracting.  There is no reason for this.  I would repost that photo in its normal state.

It`s also a bit large, and overshadows your central content which is the copy about your business.  Is your site about what you do or is it about a missing puzzle piece of the world?  Make it smaller.

Overall, the site is a good start.  Keep it up!  :)

Which web browsers do the two of you each use? I think I have only viewed my site in Firefox, so I may be missing something. Thanks for the feedback guys, I appreciate it.

To me, the globe looks the same in Firefox and IE. The blue just doesn`t work with the bright green though, in my opinion.

I think was is offputting about the blue on the main page is that there is so much of it you have to treat it as a design color.

The green, blue and black would work.

It`s the dark grey in the menu item background with the bright bright blue that conflicts.

I`d play around with either desaturating  that picture, or changing the background in the menu items.

Also there`s not quite enough contrast with the header color and the background in the main content area.
