First thought is...."too busy." Upon consideration, it looks to me as if it`s the color scheme that`s making it appear that way. The orange on tan is so low contrast it`s very difficult to read.

The whole theme seems to be "dark," and I`m thinking that speed should be "hot." I`m not yet sure how to accomplish this and still keep the readability strong. The outer border of the page color works for me....it`s just the main content area.

I`d even settle for the orange-tan color for sidebars and reference links. So I think it`s coming down to the main forum area itself.
