Fellow Entrepreneurs,

Being a huge music fan, I thought it would be fun to hear what songs inspire you and your businesses? My favorite is Philosophers Stone by Van Morrison talks about turning Lead into Gold, looking for the silver lining in the clouds and being on the road. Any others? Please share..

Whenever im in stressful situation or I am really focused on working on a project, this is embarrassing, but I start humming the song from Rocky when he is running up the stairs!

Now here is a funny one..
When I have to go visit customers that are 1 to 2 hours away..... "On the road again" old country song don`t know who sings it but its good to sing it

Another one is Dream Big by David Cook the latest American Idol winner and from my neck of the woods...My favorite lyric is "If you don`t Dream Big, what`s the use of dreaming?"

Ok, while we are on the subject of American Idol, and I know this may sound terribly corny, but the year that Fantasia Borrino won was the song that touched me then, continues to inspire me now, and always makes me stand steadfast in my commitment to myself, my business and the future that I want so badly. The winner got the chance to record the song "I Believe" and on my desk, matted and framed, are these words...

I believe in the impossible

If I reach deep within my heart

Overcome any obstacle

Won`t let this dream just fall apart

You see I strive to be the very best

Shine my light for all to see

`Cos anything is possible...

When you believe!

Now I`m not sure if this touches anyone like it does me, or if you have even ever heard the song, but if you haven`t, I would advise you to at least listen, really listen to the words very closely as the music moves you, and let it build a momentum from within you like it has done, and continues to do for me.

OHHHHHH . . .I still love: "I Hope You Dance" by Leann Womack.

Not so much because it inspires me with my business, but it reminds me that there will always be bad with the good, that I think is what life is made up of and just because you have a bad experience, keep going, don`t let the big things get you down and never take the little things for granted. Never sit anything out, always DANCE!

P.S. NuEvolution, Willie Nelson is your singer!
