To give my website a more winter feeling I added some falling snowflakes to my homepage H. Lehnerer Photography. Do you think this is to much of a distraction?

I didn`t see any snowflakes.  I`m using Firefox 2 on a Mac.  I even waited a while, 30 seconds or so, to see if they would load.  Nope.

It shows up in IE, not in Firefox.

Personally, I think it would look better if it was just in one picture, in a scene that would be relevant. Over the whole page, I don`t really care for.

I think it is cute, if just for the holiday.

Thank you CmapSteve, Hall, and Erin!

Did not even think about it that it would work only in IE. Well, it’s just for the holidays and only on the front page.

I checked it in IE where it works, but it doesn`t work on FireFox 1.x, either. As for the falling snow, it`s not that much of a distraction, and it adds some fun to the winter thing. The only problem you might have is that a fairly large section of both the country and the rest of the world experiences winter without there being any snow. So it`s more a personal choice on your part. Not distracting, just a choice.

Craig, Thank you for your comment.

… What are the Australians thinking if they find my page ... It`s summer there. I do get once in a wile hits from Australia, India and New Zealand.

Maybe they`re thinking they should get their eyes checked---they`re seeing spots before their eyes?
