I'd love to get some feedback on my product. I'm working on getting a website built for  but in the meantime i've put a page together on Facebook to help generate buzz. Any other ideas for grassroots/ viral marketing. Would love to hear what you think about my kids product. The company is GoCharmz which allows kids to decorate their scooters.

Facebook is an excellent social networking site. You need to keep experimenting with their features so that your profile look genuine and attractive to your target market.

If you haven't launched a blog yet, you should. Also, look into Twitter and Squidoo. If you are planning direct to consumer sales from your website, you should get the site launched as soon as possible -- even if you aren't going to accept orders yet. It can take some time to get to where you want to be on the search engines, so the sooner you start, the sooner you'll be findable.

Best regards,

Molly Donaldson

You can also open a page on MySpace and Twitter.  My area also has a publlication called Niffty Nickel.  It is a very inexpensive way to advertise.  You may have a similar publication in your area.  You can also do an article about your company and see if the local newspaper will run the article.
