Hey Startups,

Google just released a new tool for helping you optimize the traffic on your website.  It`s called the Google Website Optimizer.  It`s not generally available yet, but you can sign up for an invitation and start learning about what it does.

What is does is allow you to create different versions of a particular page which Google then serves up randomly when your visitors come to your site.  Then it analyzes which page performs the best and what attributes about it helped it to perform better (i.e. - the headline, image, body copy, etc.).

It`s worth taking a look at.  Just hop over to the Google Website Optimizer.

A/B or split testing is a great tool for any website owner to employ in the interest of testing any and all elements on their site - not surprising Google would take another `premium` feature or service and democratize it.  Hopefully more site owners will take advantage of it.
