Hello!

Hoping you all can take a look at my website and tell me what you think.  We have a webmaster doing work for us and we all seem to be so deep into this, we`d love to know what some fresh faces think of it.

Thank you so much!

I LIKE IT! Your content is easily understandable. Pictures are great...makes me want some cookies! I also like the business idea, the ability to personalize your cookies <and name them>, gives a customer the ownership of the cookies. GOOD LUCK IT`S IN MY FAVORITES NOW!

Well done! If you serve a good product word of mouth will take care of the rest. Like the concept and presentation.

Two things I would like to see explained
  • Batch size: How many cookies to a batch
  • Can it be personalized? will it arrive either individually wrapped or in a box with whatever name I create?
also, as an add on you may want to add the option of adding a company`s logo on to those cookies. Come Xmas time I can see small companies using this extra service to thank their best customers.

Best of luck!

I think your site is very nice.  But, where does the name that you choose go?  On the box?

I love the site (the color palette chosen is great) and I love the idea. It is straight to the point and wonderfully fun!

I found out that each batch contains 6 cookies, but this information should be more visible – you actually never say it per se, but there is a clue on the shipping page information (18 cookies=3 batches).

Wonderful job on the site! Good luck.

Nice site. Clean and easy to navigate. I also like th concept of the business.
Photography looks OK for site, lighting looks a little yellow as if shot under
incandesdent bulb lighting. Overall impression of site is very good though.

Love the concept, website looks great. You may have it somewhere on your site already, but I found myself asking…how big are these cookies, and how many do I need for X?

I think I got the batch size thing but only because I looked at the Customer Creations page ... it should be more obvious.

Although I have to say ... SPACE INVADER? Who on earth eats a cookie like that??

Love the site and the concept though. The pictures are great. I AM SO HUNGRY NOW.

Interesting site! I too had a problem with the "batch," but saw on the favorites page that they seem to mean 6 cookies. (Seems a bit expensive, though, for 6 cookies!) Maybe to overcome the apparent price issue, you should also mention the diameter and thickness of each cookie? After all, $8 for half a dozen cookies that are 5" in diameter, and 1/2" thick would be something decent. :-)

What I`d like to change would be the way you build your cookies. On the main home page, you could easily put about 200 words that explain what you`re doing, or even just some 1-2-3 graphics "Choose Ingredients," "Add to Cart," "Buy Cookies." Something that shows that I`m supposed to build my own.

Then, directly linked to the Step 1 icon, make your ingredients easier to find. Here`s what happened to me: I wanted a basic chocolate chip cookie. First, I don`t use "plain white" or "plain brown" sugar dough, I use the traditional mixture of the two sugars. You could call that "Standard Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough."

Then I wanted my mix-ins. At first I didn`t notice the scroll bar, so I couldn`t find chocolate semi-sweet morsels. When I went to the `Favorites` I saw you make them, so I went back, found the scroll bar, THEN put them in.

But the next step was a bear. When I went for nuts, I had to go way the hell down, and couldn`t easily see them. I chose macadamia. Then I wanted pecans, and it was even more annoying to do all that careful scrolling, to make sure I didn`t miss the nuts.

There`s gotta be a better way to categorize the mix-in things. I see no reason at all why you can`t put your steps on separate pages, with a "Next..." button. I`m a cook, love to bake, and have a technical view mixed in. I`ve seen plenty of sites that offer stepped pages, and if they`re well-done, nobody complains.

I`d think that the "Mix in your Favorite Extras" page could then maybe use a pick list? Sort of like a pizza topping place, where you run the list, push a radio button, and press "Done."

This way, you could price out each single mix-in, and keep a running total on your customer`s cookie as they`re building. So for example, macadamia nuts are more expensive than walnuts. BTW, can`t I choose chopped or whole?

I like the concept, and the site looks great. It just wasn`t as easy to use as I`d want, so I probably wouldn`t go through the whole thing and actually buy a batch of cookies......yet. :-) But with a bit of tweaking, I`d have to revise my thinking.
