Soldu2 - Thanks. Long drive. Long sad day. But nothing compared to what the family has to go through in the coming days, months and years.

I would like to thank you guys for sharing your time and knowledge with me. Regretfully, I will be signing off of the blog now.

I feel that professionally, it would be in my best interest to wrap-up. I will however pop-in from time to time to hopefully see other courageous people taking the first step in their journey to the next level.

I received the book that Steve recommended and will read and mull it over. I will do the same with Richards recommended book, How to Win Friends and Influence People. Craig…Your insights and analogies were genius.

I hope that the start of this thread will continue to benefit others the way that it was of benefit to me. I encourage others to take advantage of this opportunity to talk-shop with these guys.  *They are some of the next level players*

Many thanks,

James

We`d just gotten to a first name basis.

I hope this thread will continue. I personally wish to advance at least a couple of levels in my business. Wish to, nothing! I have to.

Richard, I`ve downloaded Steven Snyder`s notes and will check them out soon. If his material is as good as you say, and I have no doubt that it is, it should give us plenty of material to keep this thread alive. Here`s to focus and passion on the way to the next level.

Just got to this post and nothing`s been posted for a week.  That makes it tough to keep it going.  If you want to live on a new level you have to think on a new level.  That line is so true (Steve`s signature line).  And I am so trying to do that at this time in my life because of everything that has happened in the last 2 years.

Here`s to new thinking and new levels of living!  To our entrepreneurial endeavors and life!  Hooray for us for having the courage to DO (or if you are a StagNation Member-  hooray for having the courage to don`t  ).

For those of you unfamiliar with the "Dash", it is a poem by Linda Ellis  called "The Dash - Making a Difference with Your Life" and put into a book about life.

I read of a man who stood to speak

at the funeral of a friend

He referred to the dates on her tombstone

from the beginning . . . to the end.

He noted that first came the date of her birth

and spoke of the following date with tears

but he said what mattered most of all

was the dash between those years.

For that dash represents all the time

that she spent alive on earth

and now only those who loved her

know what that little time is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own,

the cars, the house, the cash.

What matters is how we live and love

and how we spend our dash.

So think about this long and hard;

are there things you`d like to change?

For you never know how uch time is left

that can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough

to consider what`s true and real

and always try to understand

the way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger

and show appreciation more

and love the people in our lives

like we`ve never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect

and more often wear a smile...

remembering that this special dash

might only last a little while.

So when your eulogy is being read

with your life`s actions to rehash,

would you be proud of the things they say

about how you spent your dash?

Again, this poem was written by Linda Ellis and referred to a few posts above, so I thought you might like to experience it.

I didn’t realize that the speed of bigger’ business moved so slowly. Everything is coming together, it’s just taking a longer than I expected.

I guess business it is akin to wilding the long sword.    (a book of five rings)
