Forum,
I found this link in my Entrepreneur magazine and it`s an incredible set of
tests you can take for free online.....the Entrepreneurship one is excellent. It
really does a great job of personal evaluation with a lot of insigh in the score
at the end.

Thanks - that was great.  Even with all my inability to stay focused, I found out I do have what it takes to be a great entrepreneur.  I just need to be more conscientious.  Suggestions, anyone??

thanks again.

I liked the tests too. I even took the IQ test and found it interesting.

OK, I took the test too. But really, it just feels like a fun little thing
to see what a program thinks about my ability to be a
successful entrepreneur. I don`t place much credibility in
personality tests and things of that nature. In my studies, there
are just too many people who have succeeded when so many
already successful people said they couldn`t. Drive is a big key
to succeeding in my opinion. Sometime you know you have a
great product or service to sell but can`t connect with the right
market. If this study told me I was the least likely to succeed, I
would still continue my journey. But hey, like I said, I took the
test and read the info too. :)

I was afraid the test was going to say I didn`t have the makings of an entrepreneur, but it said I did.  The fact that it pegged me dead on is a little spooky, especially the fact that this describes me to a T:

You`re generally strong-willed and independent.  You sometimes get annoyed when you`re ordered around.

Exactly the reasons I am running for the exit at my current job!

I took an enrtrepreneurial test a few weeks ago.  They called it the EAT test.  When I took it they told me it stood for  Entrepreneurial Appetite Test.  I took in on a website called bootstrap business or as the url went: www.bootstrapbusiness.org.   It`s about these two guys who wrote a book called bootstrap business and then to prove the stuff they wrote, they took 5,000 dollars from their own pockets and started a business.  At the end of the first year, it was a multi-million dollar business.  I looked at the book and it`s not like a text book or anything, but they used their own life experiences to show how to do this and that.  It was more of a survivial guide than a book.  It was a great read, I would recommend it to those of you who are thinking about starting a business.
