I`d love to see a forum specifically about entrepreneurs and fitness. My passion is seeing people living healthy, active lifestyles. The trouble is that as entrepreneurs and business owners, many of us are so busy taking care of the most important aspects of our businesses that we neglect our own health. Oh sure, it`s not so great a neglect that we even think much of it. But the fact is that EVERYONE needs regular physical activity in their life to keep them healthy and at the top of their game.

I just read in the latest (September) issue of Entrepreneur that they`re launching an online wellness site. Check it out.

How do you fit physical activity into your schedule, and what activities do you do?

I have my treadmill hooked up with my laptop for starters, and It is best to schedule your fitness in as an appointment.

I always put work first , so I needed it to come to where I was, which is at the computer.. so laptop with treadmill, blackberry on walks phone on the side of pool.. I make it work.

Fitness though in all seriosness should be a time away from work and a time to destress. I think that if one can, they should try to take an hour away a day to do this.

Agreed! I strongly suggest to people that they to schedule an hour a day, five days a week. This gives time for 60 minutes of walking, or 45 minutes of a more "sweaty" workout, with time to shower afterward. That works when you need to do your activity in the midst of your day. For me, the ideal time is in the morning, which saves me a little bit of time (only one shower needed).

The only problem I see with this is that everybody knows that exercise clearly and most definitely will kill you. People have tried it throughout all of human history, written or otherwise, and ALL of them are dead! Well....except for a few people born in the past 80 or so years.

I believe it`s the fluoridation we added to the water about 80 years ago, that`s keeping people alive. I mean, I go out....see people in spandex clothes riding a bike, and do I ever see them again? Never! They`ve clearly expired, and the newspapers are covering it up.

But hey...it may be I`m wrong. A forum might be a good place to test all this?

I make exercise part of my schedule.  I am very busy with my business, but I feel I need to reflect health in my industry, and that people expect their health care provider to be....well healthy.  I have a partner, so its been easy to stagger workouts to make sure we take care of that part.

We`re hoping to hire someone to do our exercise for us when we get busy enough.

I hear outsourcing is HOT these days! Maybe we could outsource our exercise to China! Those gymnasts seem to be pretty quick on their feet.....and hands....!
