Hello!  We just posted the EAT- a quick online quiz you can take to judge your entrepreneurial strengths and weakness, and assess how bad you really want it.  It`s all part of boostrapbusiness.org- a new site created to allow another space for entrepreneurs to ask questions and get direct answers.

I took the quiz.  Some of the questions didn`t have the response I would have made but it was still fun.

Let me know which ones- and what you`re answer would have been!  I`ll see if I can`t include them in the next version :)

Many questions didn`t apply to me yet I HAD to pick something.  It was kind of fun to take but I was disappointed by the results, not WHAT my results were but the fact that the result was just a number out of another number.  I got something like 372 out of 423.  Random sounding numbers have almost no value to me.  There was no explanation of what it meant.  372 - how is that supposed to inspire or inform me?

Q-10: I have a new business idea just about every day. But that wasn`t an option.
Q-13: I don`t make New Year`s resolutions
Q-18: What about laid-back and passionate?
Q-38: (should be 1=hardly ever 5=at least once a month)
Q-39: (makes no sense)

I apparently have little appetite for being an entrepreneur. :-)

Same here - little appetite for being an entrepreneur.  I haven`t received my email explaining my score.

The questions that need additional available responses are:
#4 - don`t have a significant other
#6 - I don`t have co-workers; I`m a sole proprietor with no employees
#10 - similar to Craig, I have ideas all the time.  That doesn`t mean any of them are viable, but they`re still ideas and they happen more frequently than once/week
#13 - should have had a "0" response
#21 - again, no significant other
#25 - should have a "0" response
#32 - same
#37 - same
#38 - same

I didn`t like it. Many questions made me answer even though they didn`t apply to me. According to your test, I have no appetite for being an entreprenuer. I`d like to respectfully disagree...

Thinking about it, I suspect this test is designed for people who work in cube farms and wonder whether or not they could be an entrepreneur? The questions are all couched in a sort of "as an employee, do you ever..." kind of phrasing. Since few or none of us here on SuN are typical employees, maybe that`s why we don`t appear to have much appetite for being entrepeneurs?

Hello everyone!  I am really appreciative of your feedback.  This quiz is designed for people who are teetering on the edge of the corporate world and their own venture.  Our intentions were to address different skill sets and areas of focus to help people identify the strengths and weakness in  their characters so they know where best to focus their efforts.  As you can see- we`re still working out the process.  I`m sorry for those of you who did not receive a follow up email- it was working last we knew, and we`ll make sure to get that fixed.

Thanks for taking the time to delineate your thoughts with regard to the questions AND the outcome.  We`re working on it :)

Hello!  I was told that perhaps this might be better over here- we`ve just developed the EAT, the entrepreneurial appetite test- to assess your desire and readiness to jump into full-time entrepreneurship.  As I`m learning, we`ve got a lot of work to do on the quiz- but I`d love your feedback.  Does it bring up anything you had never thought before?  Does it help you see where you could focus some energy?  What did you feel about the results?

Just head over to the EAT and then let me know what you think!
