I just got an email from the IRS from info.manager@irs.gov
Is this actually from the IRS? I could not read what it said because it was nothing but CSS. Does the IRS send emails?
I provide intangible services and have a TPT, file city and state so I don't think I am violating any tax laws.

I got the same email. View the headers. Here is mine. check out the "received" part. (this section: from irs.gov ([199.196.144.6]) by 139.195.146.228) NOT from irs :) That "by" IP address is from Indonesia.
there are also lots of typos....
the irs does not send unsolicited emails.

Yeah, got over 70 of them today so thinking the same thing. Some fools only goal is to stress someone out more than they already are :(.
