I see some discussions about RSS feeds.  I wrote a blog post about the benefits of RSS email feeds just yesterday and would appreciate any comments.

Some of the benefits of an RSS feed are, its an additional way to communicate with customers or potential customers, and users can control the content they wish to receive.

There are a ton of RSS features with email marketing tools like Constant Contact.  Generally they charge more when there are additional features, so do a Google search for a Constant Contact promo code or iContact promo.  Basically, RSS is an elementary technology, but these email marketing providers insist on charging for basic Web 1.0 services like that.
