I just got this in an email from my college`s alumni networking list.  I have no affiliation with this whatsoever, but I thought it might be of interest to the folks in this forum.

**********
MSNBC`s "Your Business" focuses exclusively on America`s small-business
entrepreneurs. The program is the place to go for news, advice, guidance
and tips for people who own businesses. We have a segment called the
"Elevator Pitch;" this is a unique segment in which entrepreneurs get a
chance to pitch their new businesses or expansion idea for capital to a
panel of experienced experts. This is the first stop for entrepreneurs
that have a product or service they want feedback on from our
elevator-pitch panel and get a good idea of what kind of interest they
would get from investors. If you are interested, please include a short
summary of what your company does, how much money you`re trying to raise
and what you intend to do with it, along with two contact numbers.

This is what they say about it:

The Elevator Pitch

Each week on "YOUR BUSINESS," an aspiring entrepreneur with a new product or service participates in our "Elevator Pitch" segment.

They get 60 seconds to sell their concept to our panel who offer feedback and tell us whether the pitcher is ready to take their business idea before investors.

We receive many submissions from viewers to participate in the elevator pitch. However, there are specific criteria that must be met in order to be chosen:

1. You must already have a prototype of your product or have the service up and running. The elevator pitch is not for someone who has nothing more than "an idea".

2. Since this is television, our presentation must be visual and tangible.  Web sites, for instance, tend to be problematic unless they have a number of visual elements.

3. You must be able to get to our Secaucus, NJ studios.

Keep in mind that we are a television show, not venture capitalists. By participating in our elevator segment, you will get feedback from our experts and exposure for your product, but we do not find you investors. However, we have had investors who have seen people make their pitches on "YOUR BUSINESS" and contacted them. — Scott Leon, executive producer

we`ve been judges on their show in their virtual elevator (it actually happens in front of a green screen).

it`s a great production and there`s good value in it. i`d be happy to personally recommend anyone who`s interested in being a pitcher there as i am well acquainted with jj ramberg, the host, and danielle pisano, the product.
