And the winner is...

(drum roll please)

James Lim, also known in the StartupNation community as haamonismooth.

The competition on the radio show was stiff, with great efforts on the parts of beloved community members, MeLissa and Vince. The pressure was heightened when a mystery judge joined jeff and me on the elevator. It was Mal Jozoff, a retired consumer products titan, having headed Dial Corporation as CEO and before that having held an executive VP position at Proctor & Gamble.

Contestants

haamoniismooth - Elevator Pitch contestant Listen to James’s pitch for his haamoniismooth Japanese spirit

MeLissa - Elevator Pitch contestant Listen to MeLissa’s pitch for her “Winsome Events” wedding planning business

iouone2 - Elevator Pitch contestant Listen to Vince’s pitch for Elusive Treasures earthborn products

One thing shined through - these contestants made their pitch prep a priority - and they delivered with passion. Even so, there were some obious areas for improvement, and they all took the critiques in good spirit.

Most of all, we`re thrilled that each contestant has a great business opportunity in development.

Now James gets to enjoy some serious coaching from StartupNation and Mal Jozoff. We`ll keep you apprised of his progress...

Thanks for the votes and the interest.

Next time, what about YOU doing a pitch in front of thousands?!
