Write a descriptive title rich in keywords for each page. Create a free local listing for your business on Google Places and Yahoo Local. Submit your site to key directories to help boost traffic.
In my opinion this is a really easy question to answer. Because most people know or will found out quickly that all the above posts are correct. SEO, community establishment, backlinking, ect. But I think if you do all these, which most people are already doing, the best thing to do is go back to the basics. Number one being VALUE. If your website or even you for that matter are not giving value. Then what do you have to offer. Go back and make sure you are giving people valuable information on your website. Give people a reason to come back. Update your content often. You can even start a blog that you can update daily, or every three days, ect. Even if your not trying to start a "blog for profit". Do it to give value. Do you have your own E-Zine that you can send out or offer people that visit your site? Do you offer press releases of new information regarding your industry or field of service? All these things are what some business owners begin to forget after they have been in it a while. This will give your business a "following" of sorts. I am currently working on a E-Zine and I'm opening a new website myself to try and get back to my roots if you would. I'm trying to take my own advise. HA.
Social Media is great though you need to be very active to see results. One good way is to translate your website and reach out to the Hispanic Community in US and Spanish speakers around the world.
