Hello everybody, I'm not sure if this is the right section for Ebay questions, if not, please guide me in the right directions.
Long story short, my ebay store is not going as well as I hope, at best I'm only breaking even. What can I do to make it more profitable? I found a great manufacture so I can offer great prices but people are not buying. (I'm selling hats).
What can I do? Please Help! Thank you very much.

You should try marketing your ebay store over the social media. It will not only allow you to develop awareness about your offering, but you will also be able to get in touch with your target market.
You can start by developing a brand identity for your business. Make sure that it is specific to what your business stands for. Create pages over popular networking sites that promote not only your business, but also your brand and your USP.
Divide your target market into categories depending upon the types of hats you are selling (by age groups, tastes etc). You can go after each niche once you've created awareness about your brand and identified where and how you can market to each of them.

The great thing about Ebay is it already has a lot of traffic.
But what it gets is not enough to build your business. Since Ebay cannot get you the traffic but still wants their "pound of flesh" on everything you sell, I would not recommend you continue with the Ebay store platform.
That's problem 1 solved for you. Ebay is underdelivering the traffic for you. Traffic is Ebay's real asset and the service it provides.
Now you need to get real about driving your own traffic.
That's it really.
You might look at Yahoo stores or other shopping cart systems. There are dozens.

Very good reply Alvin. That's exactly what should be done. Creating backlinks at Web 2.0 platforms is the way to go.
Why dont you make a website ?
And if you want to advertise the website , you can advertise it throught a EBAY listing.

Also i suggest you look for other things to sell, such as scarfs , socks , etc.
