We have just launched our brand new website. I designed it myself (with some help, haha). My first Joomla site.
Dynamic Love Ministries is a ministry based in South Africa. We have an office in the USA as well. Bertie Brits is the founder, being an evangelist and travel preacher. We do mostly crusades in Africa as well as conferences and seminars across the globe. The biggest "area of impact", if I can call it that, is the internet. that is why I am submitting the site here. I started working with websites when we decided to go online about 3 years ago and now this is a very big part of us.
All our material can be watched/listened to and downloaded for free online, with the option to download. So as you can see our main purpose is not to make large amount of money by selling our product, although getting donations means that we can carry out our work with greater efficiency.
We believe our message is that of good news to every person that hears it and therefore we would like as much people as possible to have access to what we offer. Therefore we will need to look at how we use SEO and metadata, which at this stage is what still lacks on this site. I need a summary of every message and keywords, but I would like some advice on how to apply it so that it can make a mark on the search engines.
I am also no pro on coding so if there is things I can do that will make the website work better (or not give errors or slowdowns) it will be very helpful.
We have incorporated some nice "gadgets" and still want to add some bookmark buttons for facebook etc. But I do not know a lot of people who spend their lives on the net, so I do not get a lot of feedback on what people want and what they do not want.
I would appreciate any feedback or critique as well as advice concerning anything else on the site apart from what I have mentioned above.
