Forum,

New to the DME market.  Looking at taking this company to a highly competitive market in my local city.  Any suggestions or help from industry vets?  Any out of the box thinking is welcomed....

Hi,

I`m presently an occupational therapist, but am researching opening a DME business (mostly wheelchairs). I`d love to pick your brain a bit if you`d be willing. I`ve been providing DME to my clients for close to 10 years, so I can perhaps be of some assistance to you as well!

Thanks!

Tim

Hi, hope I`m not breaking any rules here but an online presence is essential.  If you check DME on the internet, there are many companies providing equipment.  If you are able to compete or if you have a special niche, go online.  Where I may be bordering on violations is, I have about 35 really fantastic DME website names (domain names) that I am letting go.  A good domain name is essential for placement in search engines and for memorization by customers.  If you owned the name DME.com, you would make millions (the name itself would probably be worth $1mil).  Here are a couple available now:  DMEask.com, DMEdiscount.com, DMEhelp.com, (following, start with DME and end with .com) insure, now, service, supplier, wheelchairs.

Not just trying to make a buck here.  I`d be happy to help you with getting the site up, running and to search engines (no cost).   markguitarplayer@yahoo.com
