Just finished reading an article on Attention Economics and some unique techniques for driving traffic and getting attention for your web site.

One of the tips was providing information that Google and Yahoo do not provide.  Another was targeting women.  Also mentioned; engaging your viewers with entertaining content and capitalizing on people`s ritualistic manners of web surfing.

So, `Attention Economics` sounds like it`s all about creativity.... and coming up with unique tactics to drive traffic.

What`s the most off-the-wall, successful tactic you`ve used to drive traffic to your site?

Tamera,

Very good question - but probably best for a different forum.

Yep, this topic belongs in the `doing business on the web` category.  I think I left the suggested category blank...... the word `economics` resulted in this categorization.  Hopefully those in the control room can make the switch and flip this over into the correct category.
