I am looking for a computer wholesaler that can give me good deals on computers, to resell them to consumers and small businesses in my area, and obviously have a decent margin.

I would appreciate it if anyone can provide me with website addresses or contact names for computer wholesalers that you might know.

Also, does anyone know if you get better deals if you become a dealer for a computer manufacturer such as Dell or HP, or is it better to go with a wholesale/distributor?

Thank you,

Armoniks

Computers right now are at such a hair-thin price point, you`d maybe do better just building them yourself. Here`s one wholesaler who`s fairly successful, but they`re already doing the business on their own. TigerDirect.

No, please don`t do this.

Yes, I was going to point out Tigerdirect. I purchase parts from them almost every week. I sell computers and offer computer repair too. The only way you can save is if you buy in bulk from them. It might be a good starting point for you. Or try dell, gateway and emachines(same company) but for that you are going to need a nice chunk of Change.

Why not build your own computers and sell them as Generic? That`s what I do. I sell computers under Cyber Tech Plus Computers CTPC.. So I am working on the Emblem that I can just stick on the front of the box. Eventually I want to have my own line but that is still in development.
try Tiger Direct for now. It`s cheaper to buy a bare bones system: just add a hard drive and memory and you are up and running (get monitors too)
and CD?DVD burners. I built a computer under 500.00 bucks and resold at 1050.00 with monitor and 250GB hard drive.
