Modern Postcard is an excellent on-line source (www.modernpostcard.com).  Despite the name they also print other materials.

I`ve also used Printing For Less (www.printingforless.com) with excellent results and the online ordering is easy to use.

However, I would ask the Chamber of Commerce in your area for a recommendation.  There are significant advantages to working with printers within your region.  Face-to-face meetings, immediate access to paper samples, etc.

Good luck

Thats what business I am in, if I can not help you I can point you in the right direction to people locally in your area, and the right things to look for in a good printer.
It is best to find out the type of equipment someone is using and how fast the turn arounds are.

You also want to find out about deposits, proofs (if they are free), and ultimately the big questions is quantity.

If you only want 100-1000 prints ( meaning 1000 post cards, 1000 fliers, etc.) you need to work with a digital shop because they don`t have to setup a plate for offset press printing. They can just send a file and print 1 or 1000 pretty competitively. The sacrifice is digital prints are not as good as true offset press prints. If you are getting over a thousand the price starts getting better to go with a press printer.

If you want more details feel free to contact me privately or over this same thread.

48 hour print does an incredible job for me at 1/3 the cost of our local printer plus quick turn around.

@sweetdreambed: You recommended Vistaprint. I've used there service in the past. Really cheap but I was not impressed by the result.
