I have one...
I wouldn`t call this a secret, but many people don`t do it.
Not too long ago, I generated about $60,000.00 in hard, cold cash (well, not exactly cash, but in credit card charges) in less than 48 hours!
How did this happen...I went back to my customer base and gave them a special offer/incentive if they `purchased today`.
This is one of the oldest tricks in the book...."x" amount of your existing customer base will purchase from you on a regular basis if you send out an offer/incentive. Problem is, many small businesses don`t send out those offers.
Instead, they`re too busy trying to figure out new ways to get "new" customers, when right under their noses theres a ton of gold sitting there.
If you`re in need of some quick cash, then immediately go to those who`ve already purchased from you. They know you, like you and trust you already and they won`t hesitate to buy if you give them a reason too...
But the key here is to give a reason...it`s not necessary, but I`ve seen the response rates go through the roof because you gave a valid reason.
Some time ago when I was in the teeth whitening business, we`d always send out an email for customers to purchase additional bleaching gel to keep their teeth white. Every 3 months, a new batch of gel was made (in an effort to make the claim that the gel was "fresh").
Mind you, the gel last up to 18 months when refrigerated...but when we sent out the offer, our "reason" was...
Our new batch of gel was going to be ready in 10-14 days and we currently had an excess inventory of bleaching gel from our "old batch" which was less than 90 days old. We`re selling off the "old batch" of gel at a heavily discounted price to get rid of it...(keep in mind we reminded them that the gel was good and will last for 18 months if refrigerated), blah, blah, blah...
We`d inform them that we only had a limited supply available and once it was gone, it`s gone!
It worked very well.
If you`re not marketing to your existing customers/clients, then you`re missing out. If you doubt it...email your customer base and see what will happen
Well there are not any secrets involved; it is basically doing the things done by someone else earlier in a different way. What I did to establish my business was to observe the pattern of current methods of functioning and just molded them with my ideas to provide completely new services to customers.
