Hey guys,

When you travel, do you stay in hotels or are you open to renting an apartment for the time you are there?

Would love to hear from business owners who are looking to cut down on travel costs (esp accommodations!).

Thanks,
Jia En

Jia,

I don`t know if this is even possible in your world or industry but recently I have been using gotomeeting.com.  I have been able to do EVERYTHING that I have been able to do via web and phone from this service.  I love it.  You`d swear that I worked for them.

I still get clients that need an appreciate a face to face when I am not local to them and that is okay but having this service as my first option have been very successful in cutting down travel.  Even when meeting with a new prospect or lead in town, sometimes its more feasable to set up the meeting through there and accomplish both my goals and my clients.

It`s up to you to gauge which clients it works well with and which it doesn`t.  Afterall, the downside if that some clients may feel like their account is not valuable to them if your not willing to invest in the travel.  Catch 22!!!

Good Luck!
