Do you offer PR services for non profits?

I recently posted about all the requests we get for donations. So now, I am wondering if anyone in PR, donates their services. I am involved with a non profit organization that aids and assists our troops, and one of the ways, is by volunteers that adopt a soldier. More soldiers are signing up, than those that adopt them. They need a little PR to help them out, to find more people that will help, with all the soldiers requests. Sometimes it`s just great, to do something for a good cause, isn`t it?

Thank you for responding! I will send them your information, and if you can work with them in anyway, that would be great!

I am well, I`m just busy moving into our new "corporate office". :) I know I need to get back in touch with you, and will do so soon.

We are adopting our local National Gaurd from Evansville, that are deploying March 1. So, we are also busy, doing what we need, to figure out what to do. :)

I routinely contact non-profits in the areas that I`m interested in and offer services. It always surprises me when I either get no response or they say they don`t need anything! I mean, come on! Who couldn`t use some free PR, marketing or help with grant writing? Sheesh.

One of the writer`s websites that I go to daily recently started this website that matches non-profits with creative volunteers (web designers, writers, etc...) but I think it`s all animal shelter based. Maybe there is a similar one that is more general?

I just set up a nonprofit, got registered with NYS, and once I have a volunteer Board of Directors would be thrilled to have a marketing firm offer services to help us get launched and give them free advertising on our website etc.. If you are a nonprofit and you are offered services, assistance, saying no is crazy.
