I don`t have to make the mistakes myself but I do!

I prefer to learn from others "what to do".

I think learning from other`s mistakes is just as important as learning what to do.  In business, we`re trying to do better than our competition.  That, in a sense, is learning from their mistakes (if you have the ability to see them in the first place.)

I am continually amazed at how stupid I was three weeks ago.

I try to make other people`s mistakes for them, earning money that way. :-) I think I`ll call myself a consultant! Yah...that`s the ticket!

Nah...what it comes down to is you either learn from history, or you repeat it. People have said that for eons, and still a whole lot of people simply enjoy repeating other people`s mistakes. It`s a sort of social recreational way of passing the time, I think.

All in all, I try to learn from the mistakes others have made, but it`s amazing how seldom people write or talk about their mistakes.

I don`t know that I learn from other`s mistakes ... more like I try to learn from their successes.

It really is about continual improvement as well. I redid the CSS on my site a while back, and I hadn`t looked at it since it was a built a year prior to that. Although the code was still good and valid, it`s amazing how much more efficient and tight it`s become since then, and how my own style has developed.
