As a freelance graphic designer i think most business need at least a logo, business card and brochure. A brochure does not have to be printed don't forget. Brochures can be saved as pdf and placed on your website for people to download. You can do the same for your business card too.

Hi Anthony:

I think you would find a lot of freelance work on www.elance.com. I also see a lot of small business owners throughout LinkedIn looking for a freelance graphic designer

I think youll find elance.com to be of particular interest though- its a job board for employers to post freelance work with a concentration in the online media industry. Most of the jobs pay less than 500 but some pay much more (and others much less)

Best of luck!
