Hi, I'm new to SUN and am interested to know how many people have their own information products and how do you use them - i.e. mainly for promotional purposes (like giving away a report to build your list) or income generation (selling e-books and audios, etc.).

If you don't have your own information products, would you share why?

I'm developing a new aspect of my business, to do with Information Products and would be interested to hear if and how you currently use them.

Thank you.

I primarily 'sell' my information products... the most common form I currently use is the 'e-book', however, I'm starting to primarily produce my information in a CD format where I speak into a mic and perhaps create 4-6 CDs... I find I can charge much more with the CD versus ebook and with CDs, I can create a higher perceived value by adding workbooks, thus the impression of a "Course".

It's been very profitable for me, I wish I had done more of this stuff sooner!

Thanks for your reply Carte. You are right about CD's and higher perceived value. Also, I think people like CDs because they can listen to them while they're doing something else.

Have you done tele-seminars as well? I like to record those and then create downloadable audios and CDs from them.
