Dear singstothewind:

Don`t make guesses or assumptions about someone else`s life, of which you know nothing about.

The fact of the matter is, I consider myself an extremely lucky and blessed individual.

Ok. This is what I think... luck or not...

It`s better to be lucky, than good.

If we could impact our surrounding with an injection of good luck, I would love to apply just a little to all quests of discovery, good plans gone bad, and the "good triumphing over evil."

:-) So Vincent, you`re saying luck and goodness are two different things, and that you`re prefer the luck, and not have the good?

no no no...  I mean... you can be lucky in an evil endeavor. And you can be lucky in a good endeavor. I hope luck only appears during good endeavors.  Knowing that good, capable, well read, prepared, hard working people make mistakes from time to time, I would rather be full of luck rather than good. Luck never fails... it`s lucky.  Being good at something can sometimes (typically) leads to a failure at some point. After all, to error is human.
