Thanks to everyone who took the time out to reply.

It looks like the best thing for me to do ... is get a logo!

So I will...wheels are turning right now.

Thanks again.

Hi,

YES! you need a logo. Your logo is what will define your business! designing a logo for your company is VERY important, you don`t want to leave it up to fate, you want to be actively involved in the process and making it come to life. i can help you.

i am a graphic designer, with 5+ years of professional logo design. i currently work for an ad agency, where much of my work is in concept logo design and i spend much of my free time freelancing as well.

i understand everyone is on a budget and wants to get as much as they can for as little as they can spend, so i can be flexible on costs. we can work something out together.

check out my portfolio, and we can make a time to talk about ideas.   http://www.coroflot.com/gingerbryan

thanks!

Yes, I think a logo would be good, but I also think some graphics, something ... something to make it memorable.

Your website looks less old and need to have ere design with it. I also have doubts about its clear visibility in different browser as it has been built with table and old techniques. It looks too much simple.

I definitely think a logo is a good idea. I would opt for a professionally designed one but there are sites where you can create your own logo for as little as $30 bucks. You will however need to have some eye for things in order to get one that looks good. I have seen a few from those sites that actually look great.

Just google "free logo design"

CraigsList has proven that a logo or any kind of personalized brand is not needed for success.  But then Craigslist has no personality whatsoever, even more dry than newspaper classifieds.  This works for them and I think is a rare instance.

You would need a logo for the following reasons:

» To stand out in a crowded market

» To create memorability and recall value

» To represent the product and company in the best possible manner

Logos are the centerpiece of a company's brand. People are exposed to way too many concepts and ideas on a daily basis to remember them all.Logo should be the symbol for everything that your company represents. When a customer sees your logo, they should be able to quickly connect with what it is you do.
