Looks a lot better, makes a lot more sense. Typo: "well known" is "well-known."

The  menu, I think is only a matter of increasing font size a little. It`s a lot more readable than it was, and certainly, at the left, is much more expected.

What I`d also suggest is that if you`re going to have the logos, like for Bloomberg, they should be links to some sort of information---a write-up in the paper, a video, or whatever. Otherwise, the logos are annoying.

Other than that, I think it`s definitely a decent page to get the information. Next step is to make it visible, have people see it, and so forth. I`d suggest having some sort of date thing: If you`re looking for market testers, there should be a "get in on this by some date" and the consequences of missing out.

Of course it also would be nice if there`s an incentive for those beta testers, right?

I am confused on how the purchaser actually gets and uses the card(s). Do you get one card, and it is "recharged" after making additional purchases? Or, when you pay, do you have to wait and receive another card?

Also, why have predetermined amounts instead of letting the buyer determine what they want to spend each time?

I think it would be helpful to clarify the overall purchase/usage process, unless I`m just missing the obvious. If you go to Authorize.net`s website, and view their "How it works" page, you see a simple to follow diagram of just how their process works. Maybe you could add something similiar.

OK

Here`s what we`ve done:

1. We took out all of the tv logos - it cluttered up the site more than helped.
2. Fixed spelling
3. Added a process chart on how the cards work on the how it works page
4. All the payment logos have be put in one side and efuel logos on the other side.
5. Added a picture of our S.F. staff office on the about us page

Issues still to be resolved.

1. Menu font - I can`t find a way to make it bigger maybe I need another program.
2. Right now, we have to have pre-set amounts on the inital fuel cards. Once you receive the card you can choose 10,20,30 up to 100 gallons as a refill. We are working with voyager to create a gateway to pay as much as you want.

OK. So, once again. Thank you for everything. You have helped us so very much.

If there is anything else you see that you don`t like or ideas that would make it better please let me know. This is been a great site for us.

Thanks
Steven

Hey, this is really cool...!  I remember when I first looked at the site, getting all worried about scams, and so on. But with just a few fixes, I was able to get into the site. I went around, looked at everything, even checked out the FAQ and saw the meaning of "pilot program."

And so...here I`ve been converted from "it`s a scam" to "pretty cool....!" :-) Later, if it all works well for you, that`s when you can shop around for a new developer and make the site more slick and glitzy. But to answer your first question, no, you don`t need a complete redesign right now. It`s working.

July 2, 08 -- I just heard on WLS-AM, one of the top rated talk stations in the Midwest, and also on the Internet, about another Web site: mygas.com.

This was picked up out of the news wires, and ended up with a few minutes of discussion on the Roe Con show, also the top-rated talk show.

The key discussion question was, "How does this guy make money?" The speculation was that because he (also named Steve) buys the gas low, if it goes up, he picks up a profit. Nobody thought about the price of the membership card.

To that end, here`s two more suggestions:
  • Include in the FAQ page the way you make money on the deal. I`ve found it very much helps with your credibility if you`re out front on the way you`re making bucks. Think of that guy with the mortgage company, where you pay nothing for re-mortgaging. He talks about how he makes plenty of money from the banks looking for your business.
  • If at all possible, try to get some money together to advertise on some of the nation`s major talk shows. I think the rates a lot lower than for TV commercials, and you could get some serious "buzz" going.

Roe is fun to listen to ( it`s been awhile to be honest ), but I really loved the show when Gary was still there.

I know ... off topic ....
