Do I REALLY Need to Blog?

Hello, Group Members:  Do I REALLY need to blog?  Does it REALLY drive more people to my site and, if so, how does that work?

I have only one product but a large selection of colors. There are a few things I could share in a blog but not enough to post every day.  How many times should a new blog be posted?  Is it proper and/or recommended that I quote from articles that I find interesting and feel others would be enlightened by knowing?  How much can I blog about other than contact those who have written testimonials about their animals scratching?  www.scratchnall.com is my website.  I've been considering linking sites of complimentary products i.e. dog products, goat products, pig T's, zoo stuff and perhaps earn a few extra dollars by doing so.

Well, thanks in advance, group members, for your input.  There are many issues where I'm seeking your expert advice.  Cynthia

The way/reason blogging works is because search engines (Google) love regular and updated content.

NO, you don't HAVE to blog.


There are other ways to get people to your site. But you DO have to have a plan to get that traffic and work it.

Do you really want to carry other products, or really focus on and make money from your own? THAT is the first question to answer.

Blogging is also a great way to give a human face and sense of personality to your business and/or brand :)
