Hello,

I'm in the process of redesigning my current community-oriented website, Menomnom.com, and I'd like any input you have on the design or usability of the website: Test server for redesign project.

It is especially important that things are clear right away, so if anything is confusing, please make a note of it. Also, keep in mind that the actual content is just filler (it will be a dynamic website eventually).

Thanks.

The design looks okay, not that special in term of impressing people or make them excited. so try some awesome and more cool design.

I think the site is alittle plain but looking at it, Looks like a portal to me, is that the effect that you're trying to give?

You always want to renforce the purpose of the website at a glance, no one should be trying to figure out what the site is about for more than 3-5 seconds. Some background graphics and some text would help there.

I think you should have the "submit an Event" Up at the top where you have the Home, Events, Specials etc. I say this because it would be a sort of call to action where someone browsing around comes to your site see that they could promote an even and right away click on the button, it could easily be missed where you have it now.
Also, I dont see any keywords,
