Please take a look at my blog. I am a diabetic pastry chef, hence the title www.diabeticpastrychef.com.  I teach diabetics how to bake pastries that actually taste good, but will not adversely affect their blood glucose levels. I also sell baking mixes, cereals and gift baskets for diabetics.

I checked your blogs and I can say that most recipes are delicious and I can't believe that those are good pastries to make for diabetic people on eating sweets.

I took a look at your blog and will read more of it later, I am diabetic and have been so for over 8 years now.  So glad that there is actually someone out there that caters my group of people. I love, love sweets! Cookies, cupcakes, you name it. Most recipes that I've found for diabetic people don't always taste good.  We have an illness and need to eat special food, not just whip up something comparable to a dog biscuit and throw it at us.  It's just frustrating.  I've done the diet and exercise, I've lost weight (over 25 lbs) and still diabetic. Please don't judge that because I'm a sweet lover, this is my Karma.  Diabetes runs in my family and I became diabetic after I had my child.  I know plenty of people who eat sweets all the time and are not diabetic.  I don't drink juice or sodas but my weakness is sweet pastries.  Thank you so much for posting.

Thank you for sharing all your advices and experience as a culinary pastry chef. You are an inspiration to many individuals battling the fight against diabetes. Indeed, the wise men of our times said it correctly when they stated that “Exercise is king and nutrition is queen. Place them together and you have a kingdom.” Exercise and nutrition must compliment each other. By strengthening our bodies and enriching our minds through eating healthy, we can live a happy and fulfilling life since we are able to do what we want to do and spend more time with our loved ones. I strongly encourage all individuals to  enter the world of culinary wizardry and exercise.
