For the U.S. & Canada, now`s the time to start planning for the changes to Daylight Savings Time which take effect this year.

By & large, DST will be extended by a full month. The spring time change will now happen 3 weeks earlier, while the fall time change moves back another week.

Obviously, a ton of computer systems & software may be affected. Check with your vendors for any needed updates or patches. As per usual, there`s a post about this at the funcave.

Keep in mind other turnkey devices in your business that may be affected, such as phone systems, fax machines & time clocks to name a few.

Also, review any highly specialized equipment for any embedded timestamp functions that might cause downtime or lost time for your business.

At the very least, remember to set your clocks so you don`t miss a big meeting the next morning.

All best!
