Hello All!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a database management system that works well with MAC?  I need to create and store client invoices and be able to sort them by region, state, and product purchases.  I also need to create client mailings.  I`m new to MAC and I have to say, so far I`m not happy I made the switch! ~;o))

Filemaker dominates this area of mac software. It might be bit of an overkill for what you are looking for. They also make Bento, which is more for home use, but might work for you. It links up very well with excel. (check out the video demo).  Here are some  smaller applications that might work for you, if i understand what you`re looking for.

Express Invoice: is Free and has a windows feel to it.
Billable  may work, but it`s centered around billable time, but can handle things too.

If you are new to mac, one of the best places to go to find free / cheap software is apple.com/downloads.  Make sure to browse under `staff favorites` and `most popular`.

If you are looking for something simple and MS Access-esque, you can try out Open Office or Neo Office. They are essentially the same thing, are free and both have database software.
