D & B is or isn’t important for a company starting up?

Thank you all for your input.  I think for my business I will go ahead and pay the monies before I open my doors.  I know that banks, and some wholesalers will not give credit without prior D & B information.  I would rather be a bit safe then sorry in the end.

It is a great idea to have D&B report. You could do a lot with it because it helps your business credit ratings. When we talked to manufacturers before, we had to build up a D & B report.

D&B is very important if you do not want to have to personally guarantee your business loans. I would start working on building a strong business credit score, first, then go after some financing.
