If anyone has a wedding based site and would like to cross link to gain more traffic, let me know. I`m a professional florist so if you`re a flower business it won`t work. I`m looking for photographers, bridal boutiques, wedding D.J.`s , videographers, cateres, etc. I`m new to this but it seems like a win win for all involved. Anyone have a clue if this is a good idea?

 Thanks, alana

Cross Linking. The best kept secret of a new frontier, Anti-SEO generation. I do not have a site to promote yet , as I am an aspiring candy bar, new year, trademark recipient. But someday soon I hope to cross-link certain domains I`m working on, the like of Flowers-Jewelry-Body Paints-Chocolates-Lingerie-Music. These are my first choice cross link resolutions for 2007. My lingerie site will most likely be second to my chocolate site. But linking them all together is a must for success. (I just have to get busy and build those sites!)

Have you done some local Google searches for these complimentary businesses in your area?  I know SUN is a creative, intelligent (and a bunch of other great adjectives) , but try doing some searches for these types of businesses through Google (or your search engine of choice).

Good off-line resources would be the Yellow Pages (also a good on-line one), BNI (Business Networks International) and your local paper.

Happy New Year and good luck with your search!

As a professional florist, I presume you accept floral orders for all over the states and you have to send the order to a florist where the recipient is located.  Why wouldn`t you want to link to another florist with an affiliate type program?  Wouldn`t you still get a fee for the sale that way????!!!!  I`m learning, so maybe this wouldn`t work, but it seemed like a good idea to me.  Tell me what you think.

Thanks but I`m actually only using silk flowers and doing custom decor, wedding and occasiuon flowers. I ship in the U.S. I`m a specialty florist. But otherwise yes, that would be good. Thanks, alana

The link to your chocolate site did not go to your site. I would like to check it out. If you do favors for showers and weddings, I would like to cross link if tht works for you. Thanks for your input ! alana

Alana,

Vicki`s Drawers carries a large selection of bridal and honeymoon lingerie.  I think we would be a good match.  Let me know what you think.
