Greetings All,

My name is Ruby.  I created a grief and healing site called www.JoyWillCome.com for believers and all people who are going through the death of a loved one or a major life altering change.  The mission of JoyWillCome.com is to be a resource and support for the grieving.  Please check it out and let me know your thoughts and ideas.

I think this is one of those sensitive topics where, for many people, religion can not be avoided.  For example, in my view, if a relative has died, and that person was not a Christian, your relative has a serious problem.  Likewise, if you are not a Christian, that serious problem is also going to be your serious problem and is something that you should not ever get over.  Ultimately, joy will not come nor will you experience healing because you have a separate and larger problem – you are an enemy of God and are separated from Him because He is Holy and you are sinful.  It is irresponsible to tell such persons that they can be “healed” through counseling or using a website, or the like.  They can’t be.

That having been said, I think your website could make money.  There are plenty of people that want to hear and believe that sharing their grief can help them cope, and knowing that they are not alone can ease their burden, etc.  In other words, there is a huge market for alternatives to authentic Christianity.  People love to think that God is here to help us be happy and wants us to live productive lives, however false that may be.

Thanks for your opinion.

Healing occurs in various ways.  I do know that God said He comforts us so that we comfort others.  As well as Jesus told His disciples that with God anything is possible.  One of my favorite things is that we will be surprised who will be in heaven.  I can not put anyone in heaven or hell.  We have one judge and it is not me or any other human being.  The Word says that judges of my Word or not doers.  My belief is that I will never say what is impossible because with God any and everything is possible according to Jesus.

I am not here to debate God or His ability to make us happy and/or whole.  It is not my problem.  That problem or any other problem belongs to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit .  I am a believer in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit my belief is my belief.  I will never push Jesus on anyone or try to convert anyone.  God is big enough to handle that.  The site is not to make to money it is a FREE site.  People really do not need to purchase the book if they only need the site.  But, if they need an extra resource the book is available.

Peace, Love and Blessings
