I think this is one of those sensitive topics where, for many people, religion can not be avoided. For example, in my view, if a relative has died, and that person was not a Christian, your relative has a serious problem. Likewise, if you are not a Christian, that serious problem is also going to be your serious problem and is something that you should not ever get over. Ultimately, joy will not come nor will you experience healing because you have a separate and larger problem – you are an enemy of God and are separated from Him because He is Holy and you are sinful. It is irresponsible to tell such persons that they can be “healed” through counseling or using a website, or the like. They can’t be.
That having been said, I think your website could make money. There are plenty of people that want to hear and believe that sharing their grief can help them cope, and knowing that they are not alone can ease their burden, etc. In other words, there is a huge market for alternatives to authentic Christianity. People love to think that God is here to help us be happy and wants us to live productive lives, however false that may be.
