We just put the finishing touches on our own Press Center.

http://www.gotruckstop.com/press_release/

Here, both the media and the shopping public can catch up on the latest news surrounding GoTruckStop.com.

Not only that, but its another avenue to "drive" business to featured products within our on-line store.

An added bonus ... since its html based and heavy in text ... the search engines love it.

(Refresh the page a few times, as we have several scripts for our "video hostess".)

Hi TJG,

I`d go a little farther, setting up a table of contents page with a link and a blurb for each press release, and then a drill down to the release itself.  That way you have more pages and links for the search engines to hit (and more internal pages and cross linking) is always a good thing.  Plus it makes the page easier to read, since people are not necessarily going to read every press release of yours back to back.

Then, throw on an RSS feed.  It doesn`t hurt anything, and even if most of your customers don`t want it, there are search engines dedicated to that sort of thing that you wouldn`t otherwise reach.
