Hello,
I have the advantage of having family in another country in Central America. That being said, I came across a business opportunity to buy handmade cowboy boots at a very descent price. All the varieties of leathers are available. I understand I still need to get these boots shipped over here (Houston) and possibly packaged for sale or distribution. I have a day job so I can't commit 100% right now but this is something that I would love to leave my job for a some point. I rather be a distributor as I don't have the time or place to sell boots. I would start out buying the boots cash and start with maybe 2 dozen pairs. These boots will come in RAW form as in they don't have labels, boxes or tags. this is an expense that I will incur over here.
The shipping and possible marketing will double my cost per pair. Is this something that can be big or am I just daydream as someone tells me? How do I 1.) find an importer 2.) find someone to make my "Boot boxes and labels" 3.) DO I just walk in to my local boot store and ask if they are interested in buying more boots?
