I would love to get some feedback on a new website we put up using a free template.  Nothing special to see its just a basic site to link to all their products and offer contact information.

I don`t want Google to crawl this and pick up on the url (this would probably rank higher than the actual site would) so I have shared a link to a folder on our server.

I`m looking at both sites: the new one looks a whole lot better; but I don`t really understand what you`re providing---what you`re offering. I see Washington D.C., I see "knitters," and I see "fiber." So I`m assuming you`re a directory of quilters?

They offer different publications, this website is setup to basically link to them while providing a way to contact the parent company.

A couple of the publications are government handbooks while they are also the publishers of a guide for Knitters, Quilters, etc...

Alright, but neither site makes that clear.

As Craig said .... clarify what your site is/does/provides .... we have no clue what you`re telling us on it.

I thought the site was to sell tourist guidebooks around the US Capitol. 

And, whatever you message is, your copy is all in passive voice.  "We can, if you", etc.  Don`t ask, tell.
