That was a great video. A boat in the water could have itimidated horses a little. They know that they cannot float. It took other horses to show them that you are not going to drown. Just like starting a business when there is a lot of success. However, someone needs to take the first plunge before success happens.
That was inspiring. What a great idea they had to lead them to safe land, to show them it can be done!Thank you for sharing.
Rich, Thanks for sharing. Powerful.
Craig - don`t sell all of the mainstream media short. I`m not a big 3 news watcher much but I do watch Charlie Gibson (ABC) most nights while eating dinner - mostly because I like Charlie and he always highlights some great "human interest" stories - sometimes you can almost see a tear in his eye - and I do think they do a great job with the "Person of the Week" segment.
Anyway, when this story broke, he was on it. I know I saw at least 3-4 stories on these horses when it was happening during that week. In fact, the day they came across the water, the story was extra long - I saw a lot of this video that day. And I believe they did an interview with the lead horseman (actually a woman) you see leading the pack ... in fact, they made a big deal about how many of the horsemen were women ... I think it was their idea to lead the horses across. (once again, proving what we already know ... women are smarter than men )
