I just filed for a Fictitious Business name and published it in the paper in Los Angeles, CA.  Now I have decided that converting to an LLC is a better way to go.  I understand that I have to file articles of organization, execute an operating agreement and statement to secretary of state, but what am I supposed to do with my business name?

Do I need to re-file another fictitious business name and re-publish it in the paper with the name including the LLC in it?  I have looked everywhere online and I can't seem to find any answers.  Can anyone help me?  It would be much Appreciated!

This should be super easy, depends on your State laws.  Here in Indiana you can transfer from sole p. to LLC really easily.  check with your LLC lawyer.  (I personally use legal zoom)
