Thanks to the guideline article posted by Sachi (I recommend to everyone) I am writing to solicit your feedback/advice on my ecommerce website.
I am the owner of www.myperfumesforless.com, a site that carries over 1000 different designer fragrances at prices unmatched by any other vendor (I encourage your search for other low cost vendors and provide your feedback as to where we stand). With a selection and price structure like this, we definitely have an advantage over the competition. The site provides competitive prices for the individual fragrance shopper, as well as wholesale membership prices to those that buy frequent as well as small mom/pop retailers that buy from us in bulk to resell in their local shops.
Our goal is to become the number one site online that sells designer fragrances. We want our name to be #1 in people`s minds when they think of gifts for all ocassions, particularly designer fragrances. Our goal is also to become the #1 supplier for all small resellers/retailers.
Our strategy is to simply focus on volume and offer products at low no no markups in exchange for customer loyalty and membership (optional as you will see in the site) This is where I could use more help from you. Given our goal and keeping in mind that we are the lowest cost provider out there, what strategy(ies) you would recommend for this business?
I am also very muc interested in your thoughts pertaining to the web design strategy we have implemented. Do you like the simple and easy to navigate design? How is the speed/response time? How is the order process set up? Ease ot use/navigation? Can you see any apparent search engine strategies we have implemented? What do you recommend is the best way to expedite our success by winning more traffic/conversions?
All your thoughts count and are well appreciated
