I need to have flip flops manufactured.  I'm pretty sure they are not patented because everyone sells them.  But to be on the safe side, I have found a company that (I think) manufactures their own flip flops in China.  If that is the case, how would I approach them to manufacture the same flip flops but in my branding?  Is that even possible?  I mean, there are a lot of the same product with different labels, so I'm sure it is possible.  I just don't know how to go about this.  This is definitely not my expertise so any advice is very much appreciated.

You simply contact the mfg asking if they offer branding.
