Sorry to hear that Rose,
Best of luck with the investigation.Getting your merchant account straightened out and working with a reputable company is priority one. After that, it`s a simple matter of making small steps. You already have the basics in place.
Is your shopping cart working now? Is everything working the way it should? If so, it`s time to just get busy and fine tune your site, get some exposure and develop your skills. The things that would really help you don`t involve money, they just involve time and well....that`s money isn`t it?
So keep us all informed at SuN and if there is something specific that can be looked into there are all kinds of people that can help you out here.
Until then, My best regards and wishes,
Eric

Wes (and others):
Your comments are all to similiar to stories we get often from our entrepreneurs. That is why we spend a significant amount of time with our clients on Sequencing. While it`s imperative to do the "right things" when starting a buisness -it`s critical to do them in the right order when you are operating on a tight budget. In addition to the sequence of actions, we have found that solid "synchronization" of core development will optimize the use of critical resources (people, time, capital). We see 5 or perhaps 6 development areas in a new business that should be in "sync" with each other. Most startups focus on the "product development" and ignore the others.
We wish you all the best
