Okay, but I guess what I`m asking is what differentiates a name like, "rifle" from "M4?" I think you`re saying you can`t trademark "The Rifle Company." Right? But why is that different from "The M4 rifle?"

Better yet, if I buy one of those M3 roadsters, will I get searched at the border for weapons?
