Hi everyone I need some advice. If I need to find a particular attorney, than maybe you can tell me which kind to find.
I onw a sign company and last year 2009, I made several thousand dollars of signs for an advertising agency (less than $5,000). They never paid me, and gave me the run around. I eventually took them to small claims court. The judge, said for us to try and work it out. So we left court, and they agreed to make monthly payments.
I then got an email days later from them stating they were going out of business, and they would no be paying me anything. So I just gave up.
Well I just found out they immediately started the same type of company under a different name, and are still in business, same owners and everything.
I believe the first business was a corporation and I am sure this new one is too.
Do I have any recourse? I don't have much money to spend at all, and what they did REALLY hurt me.
