I can feel the love that comes from sharing right now - can`t you?

Cisco and Apple announced that they have resolved their dispute involving the "iPhone" trademark.  Under the agreement, both companies are free to use the "iPhone" trademark on their products throughout the world. B oth companies acknowledge the trademark ownership rights that have been granted, and each side will dismiss any pending actions regarding the trademark.  Cisco and Apple also said they will explore opportunities for interoperability in the areas of security, and consumer and enterprise communications.  Other terms of the agreement are confidential.

I will refuse to buy either based soley on this ill-founded, ridiculous, egocentric decision.

I`m not going to buy it just because I don`t want something that does all that, and honestly I think Cingular`s service sucks. (Not that Nextel`s service hasn`t taken a dump since Sprint took over there.)

I feel like every time we make a device that does more things, it does less of these things well. Like a camera phone works but it`s not a good camera. A video camera takes still pics ... but not very well. I don`t mind paying for single-use devices that do their job well ... can we stop combining them all already?

As for the name ... I still refuse to upgrade my iBook G4 because I feel the name "MacBook Pro" is the dumbest thing they have ever come up with. Plus, they stopped making a 12" laptop. And it`s really not as cute as it used to be.
